Online 1-on-1 coaching for husbands & fathers

Become the man your family
already believes you are.

Strength for the men your family counts on. 1-on-1 training, nutrition, recovery and hormone optimization built around the schedule you actually have, not the one you wish you had.

  • Built for 4–5 hrs a week
  • Gym-based. We'll help you find yours
  • Weekly 1-on-1 accountability

The drift

It didn't happen all at once.

A promotion. A second kid. A commute that got longer. Training became "when I can," then "next month," then something you used to do. Nobody sounded an alarm. The weight just crept on and the energy quietly drained out.

And now there's a gap between the man in the mirror and the man you know you are on the inside. The one your wife married, the one your kids look up to. You're not broken. You're not lazy. You've been carrying a lot, and you put yourself last.

That's a fixable problem. It just isn't a willpower problem. It's a plan problem.

What you get back

Reclaim the edge you had, and then some.

This is a full-spectrum approach: training, nutrition and recovery strategies, blood work consultations and hormone optimization. Everything it takes for a man to feel and perform his best.

01

Strength you can feel

Rebuild real, usable strength and a physique that reflects the work. Progressive lifting, sane volume, no wrecked joints.

02

Energy that lasts to bedtime

Nutrition, recovery and sleep dialed in, backed by blood work and hormone guidance when the basics aren't the bottleneck. The 3 PM crash stops running your evenings.

03

Confidence that carries

What you build at 5 AM shows up in the meeting, in the marriage, and in how you walk into a room. It compounds.

04

An example worth copying

Your kids won't remember the lecture. They'll remember that Dad took care of himself and kept his word. To himself first.

Check-ins, form review, adjustments and honest accountability. You're never guessing, and you're never doing it alone.

Fit

This isn't for everyone.

It's for you if…

  • You're a husband or father with real obligations and limited time.
  • You have a gym membership, or you're ready to get one. Heston will help you find the right gym near you.
  • You can commit 4–5 focused hours a week and mean it.
  • You want to be coached. Told the truth, corrected, held to it.
  • You're playing a long game, not chasing a beach deadline.
  • You're willing to change how you eat, not just how you train.

It's not for you if…

  • You're looking for a shortcut, a shot, or a 21-day miracle.
  • You want a PDF to ignore instead of a coach to answer to.
  • You'll quit the first week the scale doesn't move.
  • You want to be hyped up rather than told the truth.
  • You're not ready to invest in yourself yet. That's fine. Come back when you are.

The coach

Heston Swallow

Heston is the founder of ActiveVirtue Athletics in Delafield, Wisconsin, where he's spent years coaching everyday men, not athletes or influencers, back into shape around jobs, marriages and young kids.

He's been married for almost a decade and has four kids, so he understands what a busy life looks like for a young dad. He trains at 4 AM because that's the hour that belongs to him before the house wakes up. He knows exactly how a good week gets swallowed by a sick kid, a deadline, or a flight, and he builds plans that survive it.

HOLDFAST is his online coaching program: the same standards he holds in his gym, delivered 1-on-1 to men anywhere.

Questions

Straight answers.

How much time does this actually take?

Plan on 4–5 hours a week total, typically three to four training sessions of 45–60 minutes, plus a few minutes for your weekly check-in. If your week falls apart, the plan flexes; sessions are built with short versions you can still hit on a bad day.

Do I need a gym membership?

Yes, a gym membership is mandatory. This program is built on real progressive training with real equipment, and results follow the environment you train in. Don't have a gym? Heston will help you find one near you that's equipped for the program he builds for you. If you travel, the plan adapts to the gyms you can get to.

What does coaching include beyond the gym?

Everything that drives how you feel and perform: nutrition and recovery strategies, blood work consultations, and hormone optimization guidance, coordinated with your doctor where it matters. Training is the anchor. The rest of the spectrum is what makes the results stick.

How does online coaching work?

Your training and nutrition plan lives in a coaching app on your phone. You log sessions and upload form videos, Heston reviews them and adjusts, and you meet 1-on-1 each week to review progress and set the next block. Direct messaging in between for the things that come up.

I haven't trained in years. Is this for beginners?

Yes. Most men who start here are rebuilding, not continuing. Everything begins from where you are today, with technique coached from the first rep. Long-term lifters are welcome too; the programming scales up.

What does it cost?

Pricing is discussed on the strategy call, once Heston understands your goals and what your coaching would involve. There's no cost or obligation to apply or to have the call.

What happens after I apply?

Heston personally reviews every application and reaches out within 24 hours to schedule your strategy call. If it's not a fit, he'll tell you that honestly and point you somewhere better.
